Q4. In this position, your primary objective will be to build great working relationships with our Service Partners, End Users, Sales Team Members and Technical Team Members and assist them with their Spare Parts orders and enquiries.*
This will involve things like:
• Taking orders for Spare Parts over the phone and via email.
• Providing timely and accurate advice and pricing on the right Spare Parts for the job at hand.
• Answering questions about Spare Parts and delivery timeframes.
• Setting and effectively managing the expectations of Service Partners, End Users and Sales Team Members.
• Striving to consistently deliver a ‘great customer experience’ by going about your day to day work in a way that aligns to our Organisational Values.

Q5. Key to your success in this position will be your ability to learn the systems and processes used by our Spare Parts Team; follow these systems and processes with a keen attention to detail and contribute to their improvement over time.*
This will involve things like:
• Preparing quotes, processing orders and accurately entering them in the system.
• Maintaining, updating and analysing stock levels across a range of Excel spreadsheets and accurately forecasting future sales.
• Completing stock control related tasks to help maintain and manage our Spare Parts stock levels.
• Preparing and maintaining Job Cards, Sales Order Forms and all other relevant Spare Parts documentation and forms.
• Working closely with our Warehouse Crew to trouble shoot and problem solve stock related issues and get the best outcome for the customer.
• Placing orders for Spare Parts with our OEM who is based in Austria.
• Recommending ways to improve our current processes and systems and better utilise technology.
• Managing your time throughout the working day and prioritising your workload effectively.

To do so successfully you will need to develop a good working knowledge of the Palfinger Spare Parts range which extends to include the tiniest of mechanical parts, through to hydraulic fittings, right up to major components that weigh up to 900kg!*
