Testing Tips

It is in GCR3’s best interest as it is in your best interests to gain the best possible results with these assessments and we are here to assist you as much as we possibly can. So, at any stage you may have a query or questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

We hope these tips go a long way to helping you obtain the best results possible. These assessments are a very important part of our process and together with all your information we collect, this will be collated and sent across to our client in order to help them make the best recruitment decision possible for their business.

These tests are not easy and are designed to challenge you. Ensure that you are in a good head space and feeling at your best.

Also ensure that you will not be interrupted in any way whilst conducting these assessments (When you begin the assessments there is no way of pausing or stopping).

Also that you are comfortable, have a drink or anything you may need handy.

It is most important that you take the time to thoroughly go through the Practice Questions provided before you begin the tests. Recognise the type of questions in which you were stronger, felt more comfortable or found easier than others. Stick to your strengths and recognise your weaknesses! For example there are 20 questions to complete in an allocated 15 – 20 minute period on the Verbal Reasoning & Numerical Reasoning assessments. You don’t want to spend too much time on any one particular question. If there is a question that you know you can work through and get correct, but it might take approximately 2 to 3 minutes to complete, it would be wiser and in your best interest to skip this type of question straight away and move on to the next. If you have enough available time you will be able to go back to the question/s you may have skipped.

If you have any further questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact us. Always remember, we have your best interests at heart and are wishing you the very best with your assessments.
